Lisa Moretti raises beautiful angora bunnies on her organic farm in Athens, OH :D Angora bunnies shed their fur naturally every four months, which can then be used as an artistic medium. Angora fur is known for its softness, and what knitters refer to as a halo (fluffiness). It is also known for its silky texture. It is much warmer and lighter than wool due to the hollow core of the angora fibre. It also gives them their characteristic floating feel. Meet Lisa and her bunnies, and check out some of her hand-knitted items at Hippie Fest - Hocking Hills, OH on July 22 & 23!
